well...some of that stuff is a bit unnessesary for a restoration....

ENGINE ASSEMBLY 347 525HP REAR SUMP PAN (BULLET) $7,749.64 TRANSMISSION KIT,TREMEC TKO 600 79/95 MUSTANG $2,098.88

...maybe you don't have to eat the whole elephant at once though.....maybe one ear at a time?.....good luck though....JMHO...If I had a budget that large for a resto....I wouldnt be doing it to an 85 hatch.....but you go ahead and build you dream car....we all have different dreams I guess.

maybe you could contact M-U and see if they would give you a discount if you bought everything from them....you can probably find better deals here and there on different items, but by consolidating your shopping it will be easier for you to pay the bill....and the vendor stands to make a lot of money.

I think that's a pretty good parts list. I would expect some sort of discount for sure. Those parts should work well together. One nice thing about buying all the same parts from the same company is:
1) A discount (hopefully)
2) Better customer service (hopefully)
3) You get most of the gear at the same time.
4) Shipping costs should be cheaper if shipped together.
That motor and tranny combo is awesome, same with the suspension pieces. Do you plan on racing this car at all?

Look at 5.0resto( Late Model Restoration Supply ) They have better pricing on a lot of that stuff. I worked for M. U. and can tell you that they are hard to get discounts from. If you do get one, it is minimal at best. Look around more before you commit.

I would definitely shop around...I live near the CT Mustangs Unlimited, but the only time I have gone there is when I need something that is oversized and would be more beneficial to just pickup rather than pay to ship. Somtimes their prices are higher than other places...just figured I'd throw that out there.
