And the power adder...91.5MM

The C4 and 8.8 with 4.88s will carry over also.

The hatch is going to most likley get a 03-04 cobra swap and a very MILD street set up, re painted and play around from there.

As for the notch, its going to be wrapped flat white and nothing more. The body is FLAWLESS outside of the paint.

Oh......we are pushing to have the build done in 60 days...

Really want to see how this goes. You going for an 8 second door slammer notch. That scares the crap out of me but would love to see it do it. 8 second fox body is a wild ride.

That's the plan, the hatch made 660 wheel on the old blower set up and NEVER made more then a 60' trans break launch/tire test so we never saw what it could do. These 2 cars have just been a hobbie for use 3, no real deadlines or expectations on it. We are looking for 1000+ wheel and a 8 second pass. The only real goal is to get it through the DMV and have a SICK street machine.

haha thank you, we didnt get much done last night, just got the K-member dropped and the new one in. More pictures to come.

Also the turbo might go on the black hatch, the owner found a pretty good deal on a YSI last night and may go that route. The trade is his old blower and $500...

That's a nice project. You should have no problems getting into the 8's with the 91mm. I run 9.40's with a 66 mm turbo and 347 and Aod with 3:31 gears. I am going to steping up to a 78 mm turbo and DFI, 96# injectors in a few months. I am looking to break into the 8's myself.

The "hope" is to go 8s in a streetable set up with a fairly stock outside(minus fuel shut off the the trunk). The strip will be full wheel set up, and odds are a chute, but hope to mount it so it can be removed and the set up will be pretty hidden without it on. As I said, there is now a YSI in the mix with no REAL answer as to what car it will go on. My buddy just doesn't know what he is looking to do, as I said the car is going to be a street car and you know what that means, a big single is'nt the best choice for a street set up or roll racing. But one step at a time, we didn't get much done tonight due to a side job we knocked up and cleaned up the shop and re-organized out box.

Dude. A streetable 8 sec fox body. Dang dude. Unless you're spraying the hell out of it, not happening. Now a low 10 high 9 sec car without spray yeah. If you're looking 8's street or strip door slammer, uh good luck pal. I've only seen one which was a new edge body which actually ran 7's on the spray 9.0's on motor.

Just to clarify, we are talking 1/4 mile right?

The stroker he is building and a 91.5mm turbo(or YSI) will make the power from sun up to sun down for a 8 second pass, hell what's the X275 guys going 6's on a 3** CI motor and single 88? As to getting it thought the DMV then I agree with you in that sense, but I'm sure the power adders and motor and proven to make the power and pass.

And to add, the black hatch went 9.3, on a WAY smaller blower, cheaper heads and was tagged...

That's 8seconds in a door slammer fox. That's full built tube chassis stuff right there man. And it's still a really small body for 8's. Just gonna take a lot more than just a hot motor is all I'm saying.

decent project, streetable debatable. There are a few very low 10sec. foxes by me and 2 9 sec ones and they aren't what I would call "streetable" they are driveable but to me streetable is a different term. make sure you get the rule book out or that thing will only get to make 1 pass and you will get kicked right out of the track. it can get tough moving into the 8s, what are teh chassis plans?

There is a nice story in the Fox section of a 8 second Fox that drove 4000 miles to track events.

We aren't looking for a daily commuter just a car that makes a 8 second pass and can put some time in on the street. It's a built rear and tube K-member, caged and I think the talk is afco suspension

All on just a TAD smaller turbo.

didn't think it was a daily. my buddy Joshs 10sec fox is fun be still can be a hand full on the road and on long rides can wear you out, we got caught in a light rain and it was a hair raising ride back home. sounds like a cool build have fun with it and I'll follow along

You can do something like this. This Guy use to make them. I don't know if he still does.

I've seen 9 second fox passes and it's hair raising. Suspension better be correct for that kind of power. Can't wait to see it. I'm excited about the project but just have it set up right.
