Windsor for sure, the aftermarket for the Windsor has taken off like a rocket while the Coe elands aftermarket stopped around 1980 lol

I would probably go with a stroker small block. 302 or 351 based. Just upgrading to a Windsor in stock form is not gonna give you the gains you may be looking for. Stroked 302 would be the easier and probably more rewarding upgrade. With less 351 swap over parts you have to purchase. Just my recommendation. And the Cleveland swap is just not worth the trouble. IMO.

You will need to get the convertion headers aswell as the 302 headers won't allow the clearance you will need. You may need to change the flywheel.

Like to see if a 5.8 is going in the 2013 Shelby GT-500! That be a # 2 Choice for my 82 GT! Like to drop in a new Boss 302, So it would really mean "The Boss is Back" in 1982!

351W based swaps fit very well! We slid this build in with the headers installed!

So you think a stroked 302 would get me 400hp over going with a 351w and what about reliability....

IMO, you would probably be better off with the 351W - more displacement means the engine doesn't have to work as hard to reach the 400hp mark. That also means better long-term reliability.
Or you could go with forced induction for the 302. Most good kits out there can produce stock block-destroying horsepower easily.
I do like the thought of a 351 "Clevor" build though, just because.

I'm thinking stroked and forged 302 with full trick flow set up should pull 400 easy. Another route would be low compression forged 302 with a blower. More power to you if you would like a 351 in it. Because it's definitely a cool factor. But if 400 is your goal, there are easier ways to it. Simple trick flow set up with a few supporting mods will get you well over 300+ alone. Just not a fan of the 351w anyways.

Didn't hit the link, but Trickflow has a CLEVOR base to go with its upper plenums so an injected CLEVOR is easily done. The only downside are headers. Nobody makes an off the shelf part that I'm aware of?

You can hit that with a 351 and a set of GT40 or GT40P heads.

Sigh... I let this rascal go along with a TKO600 for 3500 bucks when christmas money was tight over a year ago. Would have filled the bill nicely
