ok...my friend is selling a fully built 347 longblock..that comes with Gt40x heads,a ford racing cam,and 10.5:1 compression...

i have :

mac cold air induction kit
BBK 70mm throttle body
GT40 intakes
Mac headers
Mac prochamber
Mac catback exhaust
bbk underdriver pullies

i was wondering how much power do you think i would put down with a good tune?

i was also planning on switching the heads out for some Trick flow 185's or 205's..and a more aggressive cam...

i really wanted to do forced induction on my setup, but since hes selling this all motor setup for cheap,i figure id take the oppourtunity to ****** this up...i mean i really just want to run high to mid 11's..or atleast a low 12,high 11...how much power do you think i might get,and what are my capabilities?...would i be able to run a small shot of nitrous? :worship: :worship:

Nitrous is much better on a high compression motor than turbos or superchargers. As long as it was setup properly, I would think you could run at least a 150 shot on it.

When you say "built" is everything forged in the motor? That will make a difference in how much abuse you can deliver to it.
