Hey, is it just me, or does the spoiler on a '93 cobra not suit the car? When I look/admire the car, it is as though the "style" of the car has more of a square feeling, yet the spoiler seems round.

The spoiler on the 93 Cobras looks to have the same or close to the same dimensions as as a GT spoiler.

Never really thought about the spoiler in that context. I always thought the '93 Cobra was about as perfect as a 87-93 Fox could be. Always wanted one.

Me too. For me it was a decision between a nice teal 93 Cobra and the 89 Saleen 'vert.

Would be a nice stablemate....

Yeah, I've always loved the '93 cobra, but as said, the spoiler seems, not quite suitable, even a GT spoiler would have done a better job I think, Nathan

I love the 93 cobra's. Teal especially. This is a friend of mines. Its a nicely built up car. Runs mid 11's on spray.

Also, svopaul has a red 93 cobra sitting at his shop right now that he's about to drop a 331 and a vortech s-trim in. Its a great looking car as well!

I cant remember if paul has any pics or not of it. I am almost sure the car is getting painted before the motor ever goes in.

I think the reason they designed the spoiler that way was to match the smooth and cleanliness (sp) of the ground effects. I don't think there is anyway Ford could have used the Fox GT decklid spoiler on a cobra and it look as good as what they used.

By the way, I am the owner of the teal 93 that Scothew posted.

By the way. The black one you posted is either a clone or had replacement sideskirts put on the car. Those do not appear to be OEM cobra sideskirts. Looks like the Cervini replacements.

Actually, I noticed that when I posted it. I figured it for a clone, or replaced skirts, but it very well revealed the car, plus the spoiler with the hatch up, so, up it went, Nathan, oh, and I love your car.

They stole that spoiler off the camaro at the time. I remember reading about it in MM&FF.

yeah, it looks just like the spoiler off of a 92 Z28. but i thnk it fits the car nicely. the car isnt a complete box like with the GT. there is some roundness to the body lines.

the Cobra wing is acutally a little taller than the GT wing, i think it looks good if combined with the cobra rear bumper. however on a GT, i LOVE the look the stock wing and bumper cover with LX taillights. i bought my car with the cobra stuff and it looks good so im not gonna complain that its not my favorite
