Will the 05 help the classic Mustang hobby?
I'm wondering what you guys think about the 2005 Mustang and it's impact on the classic Mustangs on the whole? Will it make people appricate them more or will it be like this. Why restore when you can get a new one?
Personally I feel a new mustang owner will sit in a old one and say, man I see where my car came from here. This will make the classics of all years alittle more special if the 05 sells very well. Just what are your thoughts?

I think it can only help. I don't think that anyone who is seriously considerng a classic Mustang will consider an 05 as a suitable replacement. I think it may have a crossover effect where there will be more people who have both a classic and latemodel than ever before. I'll probably be one of those in the next year or so.
Interesting thread on this subject in the '05 forum.
