Ok, I'm sorry if this has been asked int the past but do 18's fit on a '66 Coupe? I know the 14's clear the upper arm and so do 17's, I'm really just wondering if the 18's will fit and look right. Thanks in advance, John

Ones like these!!

This link may help and is fairly accurate. All you have to do is check which year car youhave and go from there.

I have 15x6, 3.75 backspacing, 205/60-15 on the front, with one-inch drop 620 coil springs. I have no rubbing, but there's no more room there either. My fenders are not rolled.

Rear is 15x7, also 3.75 backspace, 215/60-15, with HD four-leaf, and they fit fine. Could probably go to 225/60s without any problems.

Well, I'm hoping to go either 17x8 or 18x8 all the way around with 235's in front and 245's or bigger in back, and I'm not afraid to roll'em or flare the fenders some more, ala Shelby racers!!! Prolly go with the 17's since there's more tire selection in that size rt now, maybe those Vintage Wheel Works V40's or 45's two-piece wheels!!

You can look up tire specs for different brands and sizes at the manufacturer's website, or go here: Tire Rack

BFGoodrich Radial T/A

205/70-14 tires have a listed diameter of 25.2"

215/70-15 tires have a listed diameter of 26.8"

That's an inch and a half taller tire. You also need to check and see if the backspacing is the same on the 14" and 15" wheels. If the 15" wheel has less backspace, it will stick out that much farther and could contact the fender lip, where the same tire on a wheel with more backspacing would be okay.
