What Year Do You Think Is The Best
#2
I voted for 68, even though 67 and 68 are virtually in a tie as far as my vote goes.
68 got it because while the 67 Shelby's were "cleaner" (no wheel well moulding, no chrome lettering front and rear, no side marker lights, and the painted rear valance panel and tail-lights looked better on the 67), 68 Shelby's had a front end that was just mean and takes the prize IMO. I love it.
I don't know how I would pick a winner if I didn't like the 68 Shelby's so much. The standard cars are pretty much a toss up for me.

'68. Well proportioned exterior design, killer interior, big blocks.

The '69 of course is my favorite. Come on this year had more models than any other year Mustang ever. GT500, GT350, Mach1, Boss302, Boss429, Grande, and the last of the early GTs. The '69s are just awesome.

So therefore I chose a "normal" mustang which I can handle anytime and not the exotic Shelby (which I love don't get me wrong!)

I love the 1965-66 Mustang...
it is the quintessential mustang. The bodystyle is an element of pop-culture. It is recogniseable around the world. My cousins in europe never seen a '65 Mustang on the street, but know one when they see it. What can I say, it is the one that started it all...
