Well let the games begin. I Finally got started on the 67 coupe. I picked it up for $600.00. The kid that had it tore out the interior :bang: I hate doing interior work!! The body is in so/so shape. Original paint though so no surprises there. All the numbers match and it seems to run ok. And yes I know its just a coupe but I like this body style. And for $600 bucks why not. This will be my 3rd Mustang resto...70 BOSS 302, 73 MACH 1 and a now this old girl...Wish me luck...Im gonna need it !!

I am in the same position as you. Maybe we can help eachother out on what or what not to do. You you have a an idea of what you are hoping to achieve?

I was considering the GT/CS clone thing, but I think I'll just do a complete resto with a few mods, nothing too crazy. The interior is going to be a challenge for me. Im a painter NOT an upholsterer !! But hey thats what this hobby is all about....well that and ALOT of $$$$

Ya I couldn't get the kid to go any lower That being said there is alot of work on this car. It will need alot of new sheetmetal...floors and trunk and so on. The good thing is those parts are fairly inexpensive....The interior....that scares me!!

As for the frame, I will be doing some welding there as well. That I don't mind, I can do that myself.
