Volo Classic Cars.
Has anyone dealt with these guys? I'm thinking about purchasing a new old stang this summer and am wondering if they are a good company to deal with. I went there over the weekend, and all of the mustangs were just beautiful. Wondering if they are just nice on the outside, or all in all really good cars. The prices would suggest that they are pretty much mint condition.

shop wisely
let me edit ... their cars are nice ... chances are the $$$ that went into the restorations is more than what they are listed. if you want a completely restored car, then they might be a good choice ... but compared to all the shopping I have done, they were about 25% or more higher than other cars.
if you go back there, take some pics of the cars and the floor; i would like to see more what is published on the web

arent they the guys that have the only 67 shelby gt500 vert?
pretty much any dealer is goin to overprice then you might be able to talk them down but they will end up makin at least 7-10K on you. whatever you do dont mess with oswalts mustangs in South Carolina. i know someone from here in indiana that drove down there 2 years ago to look at a 66 shelby and they wouldnt even start the car for them let alone let the man have a test drive!

I did take some pics while I was there. Any car you would like to see in particular? And to answer your ? Libossman. They do have that 67 Shelby vert prototype. Supposedly it's worth over 2mil!!!
I live like 15min from Volo auto museum.
I think the cars are a little over priced but....
A friend of mine bought a 1972 Olds 442 a while back and it was very very nice!
The cars are done extremely well im sure youd be happy if you purchased a car from them.

I would love to see pics in general; nothing specific since I have already bought mine. I signed up for their auto email program on mustangs and get spammed regularly.
When a 69/70 Fastback popups up and I compare it to mine and it seems at those times ... they were asking 10K over what i paid and mine is a GOOD condition ( i call it FAIR on my web site since I have a major upgrade pending ) ... but when I got mine; it was the cleanest and straight 1969/1970 I have seen in 4 years.
They have a 1970 now, white/white, automatic, 351 with a shaker, 29,995 ... a little high; i still say the 302/351s are only worth 20K at the moment; its the 390s and 428s that are in the 50s and the Bosses ... well over priced like Google.
A really nice 302/351 could sell for 23 or 24.
On the flip side ( I am not bashing them ) they seem to only accept cars that meet higher standards ... so maybe paying 20% more is piece of mind????
shop wisely.
