Used Shorty headers or exhaust manifolds '67 coupe 289

I have a crack in my exhaust manifolds and I need to replace em. I'm toying with the idea of headers, but money is definitely an issue right now. The crack isn't bad, just making a ticking noise. Just enough to drive me crazy wanting it fixed. I was wondering if anyone knew of some used ones somewhere... Ive got a neighbor that does powder coating so they don't have to be pretty.
The car is a '67 coupe with a 289.
I really appreciate and value everyones opinions. One day, when I get more experienced, I hope to be of some help to someone else here.

I put long tubes headers on my mustang and I have to put drop bracket on for the power steering ram. Would put shorts header on so u don't have to put that drop bracket it

I don't have power steering...but my mustang is lowered and that's why I'm trying to find shorty headers. I was told that I needed short ones for better clearance.

Yeah, I've already got a flowmaster dual exhaust on it.
I've seen headers anywhere from $120-$500 how could they possibly be that different? Is the difference in performance or durability? If its durability, wouldn't powder coating them take care of a lot of that wear and tear? I just don't know that much about them.

Price diffrence is the coating. Plain black is normaly cheapest. Then ya got ceramic ( i think could be wrong). Polished is another option it all depends on the look your goin for.
