Torq Thrust 16"?

I am looking at troq-thrust 16x8 for my 68 fastback. Will these fit w/o a problem on all four corners?
if not, are there any other torq thrust wheels from AR that are grey and 16" for the front?

It's possible they could, but backspacing has to be perfect. 16" wheels are just the right (wrong) size to interfere with the upper control arm unless the backspacing is just right. I'm sorry I don't have the perfect measurement for you. Hopefully someone will chime in with the right number.

It takes exactly 4-1/2" of backspace - even then, some have minor interfrence with the upper arm. More than 4-1/2" will rub, less than 4-1/2" puts you into the fender.
That's why you're seeing a lot of folks go either 15" or 17".

I used the Vintage 45's 16x8 w4.5" b/s on my 66 Shelby. All I had to do was roll the fenders a bit. When the wheels are balanced, the weights have to be put on the inside of the wheel and not on the edge or they will rub the control arms. Hope this helps.

as far as im concerned, a nice set of 15" torques look awesome. I think that BIG wheels are way overrated IMO, i love nothing more than to see a nice seet of meats matched with a 15 " torque.

i'm joking, but I still wonder about the 15" or 16"
is 15x8 too samll to work because of the control arm clearance?
I want a wide tire, but it has always been an issue with stangs

I agree, The 67 Coupe I am doing right now is going to have 15x8.

will this backspace work on front or will it rub the fenders?

Here is a picture of the wheels I just bought from Phil Schmidt. These are replicas of the Trans Am style wheel of 1967. They are 15x8 with 4.25"b/s. The ran about $300ea. with longer lugs and center caps
