Swapping parts from a '70 to a '69

Can you swap a front clip from a '70 on to a '69? All the cars I find are '69s and I want a '70. Do I need to change any major parts?

The 69 and 70 front ends are identical as far as I know. Even the sheet metal can swap from either year.

edit: Remember, though, the vin is stamped on the fender apron. It would be wise to cut out and remount the correct vin.

You can buy a '69 then if you like the look of the '70 front end just buy '70 front fender extensions and then the correct grille and trim. The rear end will look a bit different but still pretty similar.
