Question Solution for 289 3spd zbar compatibility with borgeson power steering kit?

Hey all,
Been trying to research about the compatibility issue with the zbar linkage and the Borgeson power steering conversion. Everything I read talks about solutions related to a T5 swap - my 68 has the original 289 3spd, and I don't plan on swapping that out anytime soon.

Has anyone successfully installed this kit with a 3spd? how did you modify the zbar, or what conversion kit did you use to move to a cable solution? Due to cost, I won't be doing a hydraulic conversion.

Thanks in advance.

I did find this thread about using the JBA 1650Z Z Bar successfully.
