Should I keep or sell my 66 coupe
Just trying to put out some feelers of what I should do. I have a 1966 coupe with approximately 66,000 original miles. It has a 289, 4-speed with a 9" rear end. The block is not original to the car but is a 60's era block.
A lot of hours have gone into restoring this car so I will try to give as much detailed information as I can.
I bought the car several years ago hoping to restore it, I did most of the dirty work myself. Spent a whole summer under it cleaning and grinding to bare metal.
Since I have owned the car I have replaced floor pans and battery apron, rebuild the front and rear suspension. Every piece I have taken off the car has been sand blasted and painted.
One part of me wants to sell, the other part says keep it. I am not sure what to do or what it is worth at this point. It is sitting in pieces in my garage.
Any advice would be appreciated, let me know if you need any more info

is it a K code car ? i dont know all there is to know about those cars but a 9 inch rear tells me it must be something special if it is original to the car .

then it is one of millions made .. no need to get attached to it ,,, yet it does have some unique stuff with the 4 speed and 9 inch rear .. I would actually clone it to a GT and keep it ...

If it were a fastback, I would keep it without question. As an altered coupe, well. . .
Do you think you will finish it? I think that might be the real question. Are you wrestling with the thought that you might be tired of doing the restore? If it isn't fun anymore, then maybe it is time to release the project to someone else.

That was my goal when I bought it, put it back to its original color of Ivy Green and put Ivy Gold Pony Interior in it
