Wow. Youd think he would want to leave the best image he could, rather than ruin it in his last few years.

It shouldn't be a surprise, this is nothing new. It is not like Mr. Shelby's demeanor developed in the last couple of years. That's his history and legacy. His glory years have past him by and the only thing he has left is his enthusiasm, for the right price of course.

BTW, for any of you that have never driven a GT350 or a GT500, they were dogs and couldn't carry the jock straps of the new GTs. So in essence, the only thing you have missed is the myth of grandeur and lot overheated engines.

Umm, the last new GT I raced with my 67 would not agree with that statement you just made-

In Mustang Monthly they dynod bone stock 1967 GT500 and a 1968 GT500KR...

Both pulled about 235-240 rwhp. A 2005 GT does better then that.

OK...here is the cut and dry.....LEGALLY, Shelby CANNOT do that...however, all someone has to do with Ebay is report a trademark infringement and Ebay will run and pull the auction to protect their **** because they don't want any trouble in that area. It does not matter if the report is false or not, they will pull the auction. Anyone here could report to Ebay that someone is infringing on their trademark, name or copyright and without even investigating it, ebay will yank the auction.

This same thing has been done with used vintage Arcade games reported by unscrupulous sellers that fear the competition.

All it will take is one person who is a lawyer or has the time and money to spend and they would win over SHelby in court on this...period.

I agree, the only shelby's i liked were the 67 GT500 styling wise but other than that i liked the GT350R and the 427 Cobra and thats it. Shelby has gone waaaaay too far with this and is a greedy bast___ for lack of a better term.
