rear disc brakes cure brake lockup
if you put rear disc brakes on a 66 mustang along with disc on the front does it get rid of rear brake lockup and swaying side to side?

I've never had my brakes lock up in my '65.....the swaying side to side? oh yeah...a lot, but I attribute that to a blown wheel cylinder I have that needs replaced...plus manual drum brakes are a PITA!...rear discs may help just becuase they will stop better and it wont feel like you needs to slam the brakes to "lock-up" levels just the get it stopped.......maybe they just need adjustment?
Bottom line: Rear discs may not help your problem, but it will definataly be a good investment and make your car safer....
