Question about '67 and '68 Consoles

I'm wondering if the plastic bodies of 1967 and 1968 Mustang consoles are identical to the Cougar pieces? I'm only referring to the plasic "frame" / body and not any of the top plates or vinyl covers etc. :scratch:
