Has anyone had any luck on how to sand the interior surface of a 66 mustang coupe? The doors are made of a krinkle metal. It is very hard to clean for painting.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

You need to use automotive paint stripper. Apply it, wait for it to bubble, wipe off with scotchbrite pad or you can sand blast them. You definitely don't want to sand because it will smooth out the grain. You will also have to be careful when repainting so you don't fill the grain with paint & primer.
