Paint Guys...Help!
we painted my car recently with a bc/cc paint. when we sprayed the clear the temp of the room was rappidly going from 75 degrees down to a much colder temp(outside temp was 0, we had heaters that were turned off to spray, but temp droped fast) this caused an orange peel type of finish. we made the mistake :bang: of only putting 3 coats of clear so we cant sand enough of to make it smooth without worrying about hitting the metallic base. ive already waxed it twice. would it be possible to somehow clean all the wax off and rough up the clear a lil then apply more layers?
any suggestions please. thanks

What have you got to loose?
Like he said, scuff.....wipe with wax/degreaser......shoot some more clear
You should NOT wax a car untill you are pleased with the finish. The wax fills the micro pits in the paint . Sand it down with some 2000......stay off the edges.......3 coats should be more than enough to sand with out getting into base....if you can't get it smooth after sanding , the clean all surfaces very good and apply another coat or two of clear...
