orange 78 mustang II
Big shows this year are still up in the air. Probably Carlile PA in June for the Ford weekend. MCA Grand National, Labor Day weekend is also possible. Our local club's two shows are a must. Depends on our schedule. Last year we were in Nashville for the 40th with our 40th. Year before that we were in Dearborn for the Ford Centenial with our '01, MCA National in Mass. with the '01.
The car is staying stock. Once I see the original documents, I'll know if anything major was done for international use. This may explain the antenna.
This car may have more miles in transit than driven.

I was busy all day today and with short days and work, my pics may not get taken untill next weekend.
Either the seller took his down, or his hosting service is down right now, so the photos do not show on the ebay ad.
Those of you who have not seen the sellers photos, sorry.

Don't you think $12,900 is little too much for Mustang coupe? For that kind of money you could've easily find Cobra II or King Cobra in really good condition.

Of course I could have found a King, or Cobra II. I wanted a coupe. This one just happened to be special.
This car went from Dearborn Assembly, to Port Elizabeth, New Jersey, by ship to the east coast of Guatemala. Then to Guatemala City.
From there it went to New Zealand, and finally came back to the states.I have copies of transport documents that came with the car.
The odometer says 16,900 miles. I went over the car. It does not have the accumulated layers of crud a 116,900 mile car would have, and I believe the odometer. The interior and exterior look like it has 16,900 well taken care of miles. It's not perfect but it its unrestored.
We paid a few thousand more than a regular concourse quality coupe would go for, but I doubt you will find another Mustang II coupe in this condition, with this history.
If you go to the MCA Grand National in Ohio Labor Day weekend, please stop by and see the car in person.

If only I had the money....I even like the color.
