I don't buy/read the magazines so I rely on the Web to find out about new products. Seen any new and/or interesting products lately? Post 'em here.

Lets see. The "original Ford tooling" fenders are out for 67-68s, as well as complete door shells for those same years (though I've heard mixed results on those door shells). I've also run into a super-simple sequential tail light kit that is really easy to install, uses LEDs and costs right at $100. I'm sure there's more, but this is what I can think of off the top of my head.

BTW... it does not have to be a great product in you opinion, just something new. I believe Cloney is waiting for his new Bullet style console from California Mustang to arrive:

My stack of car mags is at home. I'll look this weekend and see if I can find where I saw that.

Whoa! That's kinda crazy. Haven't seen those before.

I think I kind of like it?

Not sure, but for the money, I think I'll stick with my plans to make my own.

Are they actually being sold yet? I wish I would have had one for my coupe....

Not a bad idea for a thread, as I am in the process of buy parts to rebuild my 66 coupe. Is original Ford tooling actually better than the next product? Any info on pretty much a complete restore would be great.

At first glance those looked like some kind of women's shoes with those inserts still in them!

Not if the original ford sheetmetal on my car is any indication.

4 link rear suspension + airbags. Pretty slick actually. Airbag technology has come a long way in the last few years...

That is slick. I'd like to see a road test of a car with this system.

I'm not impressed with the brackets that saddle the axle tubes. But other that that it's a pretty good idea. Well, also the welds/cuts look rather crude. They've been around with this setup for awhile, I nearly bought the fastback shell they used to mock up the kit on.

That package does not include the actual inflator system. But it is a 4 link, and I assume you could perhaps substitute coil springs for the bags. I emailed them awhile about this and they said why not?

i had thought about using coilovers on one of those as well, that would be pretty slick, and cheap enough for a bolt in 4-link, might be a pretty good rear suspension

until re-read the first post i actually thought you wrote coilovers and not coil springs, but i can see where coil springs would work too

i was watching one of those on ebay and it just sold this morning or last night for 1000 bucks, add a couple or three hundred for some coilover shocks and you might have a really nice rear setup (well as compared to the leaf springs anyway) i like it and it actually looks like it would be fairly easy to duplicate as well. any body have a tube bender
