How does one convert from an ammeter to a voltmeter? I'm not any good with electrical stuff and I've got no idea how to do this. BTW, it's in my '66 coupe and I'd like to convert to a Autometer voltlmeter in a 6 gauge custom dash.

Simply install the voltmeter, connect the negative to ground and the positive to any 12 volt igition on source. Do not use the ammeter wires as that gauge is wired in series.
