I came across these center caps and I'm trying to figure out the dimensions of them. Can any body help? The are for the Styled Steel wheel centers for any 1964 1/2 to 1966 Ford Mustang with Styled Steel wheels. Does somebody know (or could they measure for me) the diameter of these caps? Does anybody have a picture of the backs, so I could see the mount design?

I'm trying to figure out if it is possible to "modify" or "construct" a way to mount these on 2005 rims, (without looking trashy).

TIA,
Tom

They are 2.5" in diameter. They are basically flat on the back. There is a slight raised section (round) that is about 1.5" in diameter. This raised section is about 1/32" high.

They secure by placing the cap on the wheel, and centering them with the raised section. Then you just put the washers on the screws and screw them down. Each of the two screw holes are about 1/3" in from the edge of the cap.

If the holes in your rims are about 2" in diameter, I would think these would work. If your holes are larger than that, you maybe able to use a larger washer.

Sorry, I don't have a picture of the backs. Hope this helps.
