My '69 Mach1 resto
My '69 Mach1 resto
Hi guys, it's been a long time since i posted, but i'm so darn busy finishing off my '69....here are a few pics of it, should be finished by January. It's been 2 long years of labor, searching, buying, highs and lows....but we're getting there....can't wait to drive it...oh right can someone host my pics!!!!!
Here are a few more with the engine on the dyno.....it puts out 415HP, and 430Torque, it's got a 351W bored .030, flat top forged pistons, fully ported original heads and original intake which is port matched to the heads, with 3 angle valve job, forged pushrod, double spring, scorpio roller tip rockers, hot Comp cam, 10 to1 compression, balanced and blue printed block and crank turned 10-10.
Finding one was a problem, there are a lot more big block shakers out there than small block ones....and i've checked the repro ones and didn't like them at all...i like the real thing...but costly....i found a real nice one from a '69 donor with 40000miles on it, the shaker was like new...even the vaccum was working....got it for $2000 cdn, but that was a good price because i've checked them out this summer in Carlisle Pa, and they went from $2200 US.
That looks really sweet. Nice color too!
