My '69 Mach1 resto

Hi guys, it's been a long time since i posted, but i'm so darn busy finishing off my '69....here are a few pics of it, should be finished by January. It's been 2 long years of labor, searching, buying, highs and lows....but we're getting there....can't wait to drive it...oh right can someone host my pics!!!!!

That is sooooooo awesome. Great job! Is that the 427 or 351, I can't tell?

Here are a few more with the engine on the dyno.....it puts out 415HP, and 430Torque, it's got a 351W bored .030, flat top forged pistons, fully ported original heads and original intake which is port matched to the heads,with 3 angle valve job, forged pushrod, double spring, scorpio roller tip rockers, hot Comp cam, 10 to1 compression, balanced and blue printed block and crank turned 10-10.

That's gonna be an awesome car. Nice to see you got the shaker for it, if I remember correctly you went through some trouble with that?

Finding one was a problem, there are a lot more big block shakers out there than small block ones....and i've checked the repro ones and didn't like them at all...i like the real thing...but costly....i found a real nice one from a '69 donor with 40000miles on it, the shaker was like new...even the vaccum was working....got it for $2000 cdn, but that was a good price because i've checked them out this summer in Carlisle Pa, and they went from $2200 US.

Acapulco blue.....but the vin says otherwise, the original color was chanpagne gold. Had to do a change c'mon!!!!

Whenever i read the word Flanders like in your Belgian car event, it reminds me of my ex dog which was a Bouvier des Flandres....off topic but just can't help it...

Indeed ! He works in Brussels for Nato and shipped his car over. It is for sale now as he ordered a GT 500.
