That depends on whether YOU want to give that much for it.

You do realize the 24995 price is in English pounds? And the car is in England? Your info doesn't tell me where you are located, so I'll assume your in England too.

Anyway, that makes the car's price around $40000+ USD (what's the exchange rate?), and unless it's a concours restoration, or unrestored original, I'm not sure it's worth that much... Maybe cars ARE that costly on the other side of the pond?

EXACTLY!!!
The car is worth whatever someone is willing to pay! If you're depending on "internet experts" to make YOUR buying decision from 1000's of miles away based on a few small, grainy pictures, you're already in trouble. The buyer's guide in the FAQ section tells you what to look for - inspect it in person, and do a detailed inspection of the "problem" areas. Faults there will determine what it's worth! You LEARN a lot more that way than asking opinions from people of unknown qualification. :nono:

This applies to ALL "for sale" & "what's it worth" posts. Let's NOT turn TMS into ANOTHER forum clogged with "look what I saw on Ebay", "hey check this out", and "u peeps got any kewl piks" (sic) posts. [/soapbox]

You know, being tragically uncool myself, I've never had "peeps" before. I was hoping to get some for Christmas--maybe my birthday.
