Is it odd that this doesn't surprise me all that much?

Sucks to be the owners though

+1, I watched the episode of Rides where they built a car for Foose, and laughed

I watched the episode of Rides too that showed these cars being made and I wasn't all that impressed. I guess I like to be creative and not copy something else that already was done if I can. As for 13 gallons of Bondo in a car, in a radical custom that probably isnt as bad as it sounds considering if the putty is used right you end up shaving most of it off and only a few imperfections get filled.

The other point to make too is that extremely modified cars tend not to be exactly a useable driveable car alot of the time. Big bad engines usually are short lived, wildly modified suspensions usually are choppy horrible handling. and wild custom body mods usually end up either coming apart after time or rattle so badly you cant stand driving the car. I give credit to the ones who have pulled it off though.
