How to remove steering wheel ('70)

I've removed the large nut on the steering shaft, but am buggered if I know how to get the wheel off.

Thanks in advance.

You need a steering wheel puller. It grabs the center bolt section with tree bolts on the outskirts. You tighten those down and it pulls the wheel off.

I did this all the time in my '69. I had a little 10" wheel I would put on it, but it didn't pass state inspection. So I had to put the factory wheel on for inspection, then pull it off again!
