Historical Question, 1964/65

When was the debut of the 2+2 fastback. Was it the NYC Worlds Fair or later. I always thought the Convertible was debuted first. Wouldn't be the first time I was wrong, but .....

August 17, 1964 the fastback was introduced and the GT option became available.
