Unhappy Help with 65

I need some help with my 65 coupe, it is a nice mostly original Mustang, but I have a couple of issues I can't figure out. It drives like poop, when I accellerate it moves to the right, when I let off it moves back to the left. When I hit a dip or bump in the road it feels real loose. I have had the car on a rack and every thing under the car looks tight, shocks are new. I also need to know the path of the gas gauge wire from the tank to the gauge. Thanks for your input in advance!!

I think it runs with the rear light wires under the drivers side door and over the rear wheel arch.
