My 65 coupe is pulling hard to the right when I stomp on the gas at hiway speeds, I have a 302 stock, with a performer manifold and 650 holley. I bought this car for my daughter but don' t want her driving it untill the problem is fixed.
Thanks!!

First make sure the rear end is secure and not moving.....also check to make sure you don't have a front brake dragging.

It pulls only when you "stomp on the gas"? I would think brakes would pull regardless of speed, unless something is loose and the acceleration causes it to move. I agree with svopaul - check the rearend mounting bolts - and the engine/trans motor mounts while you're under there.
