I noticed the other weekend that the new headliner on my dad's 68 fastback wasn't quite snug up to the roof.... It was at least a couple inches low, and I had to tilt my head to the side in order to fit in the car.

Will this new headliner snug up in time? We re-used the original bows, and I'm just hoping we didn't do a bad thing by re-using them.... will it stretch to conform to the roofline in time?

Hmmm, you're supposed to re-use the old bows, but there it isn't supposed to be really tight against the roof. If it is obviously lower than it used to be, it most likely won't get any better. I'm just kind of stumped as to how it could be installed too low. It's a tough job to do a headliner, but usually a poor installation = wrinkles, not bad sagging.
