Thumbs up

Didn't one of you post pics of a 4-door prototype one time?

I posted it back during that dark period when Brad's site went down and several days were lost.

Those weren't the only Mustang prototypes that failed.

Same here. It'd be easier to make a hot rod 2 door wagon than an afterthought 4 door sedan.

Great article, but does it just end, or did I miss a link to continue the story of the building of it?

I'm not sure I follow your meaning, are you saying that you would prefer the car remained stolen, stripped, cut-up, and left for the jaws of the crusher as opposed to making a wild restomod out of it? Not me, I think that is the best way to bring a basket case back to life and leave the solid and whole cars for stock restorers or mods that are reversible. I don't say I particularly care for all the things they did and particularly when they are all together, but as far as restomods and and hotrods go, I'll take something unique looking like a Ronster over a poser Eleahor movie car any day of the week. :notnice:

I don't care for what they plan to do to it. I don't like the green seats, the green flames, the chopped off window, etc.

In fact, the other solid color one they show on their site is not nearly as bad. I could handle seeing it. I just don't care for their use of the "Green"!!

I concur that the second Eleanor is not my cup of tea, either.

Check out my '66 'vert in my signature, and you will see what I prefer.

Agreed, my initial thought was NOOOOOooooo!, but on reflection, I agree with you. Better leave the rodding to the basket cases and leave the less baskety resto's to the guys that wil do it sympathetically.

LMAO at the obscure Simpsons reference, Mr. Wolfcastle.

I agree a wacky hotrod is better than the crusher, but man, that thing is far out.

Wacky and strange, but not bad when you consider it was DEAD to begin with.

That's all I'm saying, even coming back as a zombie is better than being dead.
