Start with getting the casting number(part number) off the flywheel....that will help determine what application it is for.

The 289 is a 28oz imbalance and the later model 302 is a 50oz imbalance...if you have a later model flywheel then you will have a bad vibration.

Weight no, the flywheel would always be heavier but it is the imbalance amount that matters.

ok guys here the deal ,,
we did have the wrong flywheel ,,and pressure plate and disk,, once we changed the flywheel the pressure plate was wrong and the disk so we changed all and all is great ,, we even adjusted the shifter and add fluid to tranny and changed the speedo cable and gear ,,,, now all we need to do is adjust the clutch lol he says it catches at the top ???? right now i have the adjuster most of the way in,, do i just extend it a little ???
