I was wondering, where did Mustangs go that had a Dso for Government, Home Office Reserve, American Red Cross and Transportation Service?

Most Mustangs with those codes went to either the Home Office Reserve or the Transportation Service. I doubt many Mustangs went to the Red Cross or the Goverenment.

Home Office Reserves were cars that were ordered and kept in the Ford Motor pool. These cars were used by senior Ford Employees, and as loaners for VIPs who came to town to visit the company.

Transportation Service cars were similar but I believe most of those cars were sent out to regional offices. I think that these cars were sometimes loaned out to car magazines for testing.

I have read that auto show cars had these DSOs as well. If your car is a 67 or later, a Deluxe Marti Report could give you more inforation as to where your car went.
