Just made my 69 Coupe worth more money! You got to wonder what that car has been through to end up in the condition it is today. Mine is stock except for the MSD 6A box, Ford Duraspark distributor and 351W cam (engine is a 302) is a pretty stark contrast to this one.

 

All of it could be undone....but the cost to do it would put you in over what the car is worth. Unless of course the VIN shows that it was an R code 428 Coupe....at which time the guy that did this should be shot! But if it is just a 6 cylinder or 302 coupe then you'd be better off finding another.

 

Never understood this, why put another brands motor into the car? 302/351s aren't that costly... or is the Chevy 350 just that cheap?

 

the chevy 350 is just that cheap. At a big car chow i went to the grand prize was a 1967 Mustang Coupe candy apple red paint with a chevy 350 w/700R4 tranny.

 

Let's be fair, mebbe the word "FORD" was a bit tough for this guy to read, what's more, understand.
