We have about 6 entries with pics that could work well for a calendar.

I know lol. The darn sunset was too bright and i didn't bother to go on the other side of the car to get the full front in the pic. :bang:

Oh, I thought Jay was saying that because the pinch welds are body color instead of black.

Thats what I get for buying a 65 for 6K I guess. [/b][/quote]
LOL, nah, I was just playin with ya. The pinch welds (the metal that is under the rocker panels) were painted black from the factory to help hide them. Most cars that have been repainted neglect to re-black them. Certainly not a big deal, I was just havin' fun.

I don't know how I missed this thread before, but what a great idea. I can not belive you are having a hard time getting pics though, lol. This is the one of my car that was on the cover of Hemmings Mustang Guide in 2003 (or at least what it used tolook like ), but I have full res pics of just about all the pics on my website if you like/want/need it but prefer a different angle or something.

Make sure you have a link in here to the highest resolution and best quality photo of your car so I can start work on it ASAP. Make sure picture is good form the standpoint there are no other cars in the background or other messes, no crazy sun situations, over shadows, etc... keep in mind it will be looked at for a month ... all the crap will be noticed.

Now we're gettin' somewhere.

Jay, I'll probably have to email a pic to you as I don't have a super-good high res version online.

I need to have gullable next to my name. I'm new to this hobby and have a lot to learn, and its incredible how much I have learned in the 2 1/2 months I've had my car. Just stinks that I have no garage and must keep the car at a friends house over the winter. I haven't seen the thing in 2 weeks :notnice: But I learn alot from you guys reading these posts here and I appreciate it, now I just need spring to get here so I can begin my learning again, and sign up for some auto mex classes at the tech.

Jay as far as those pics go, I'll have to wait until next year :bang: I didn't take enough pics of the car while I had it out, and now it's lifeless so maybe next year I'd still like a 2005 calendar with all the other guys cars though.

If I can get some nice shots of the 'silver bullet' when it comes home this weekend, I can provide one more to the list.

You should never paint your car... you'd kill the phrase "beauty is only skin deep" B)

Ok so the res is fine on that then, good. I actually had to drop it a few K to fit and the website ones never come out to full size, they always get re-scaled, so I was going to have to email it to you like Blake otherwise.

I can't believe we've never thought of this before, just such a cool idea Jay!!!
