How about a calendar just for us? Could do it so you order as many as you like... probably cost $14.99 + shipping for a calendar but they would only print the amount we order and you can reorder at any time.

I can handle the design this year... or maybe Dan would be a good resource for this?

We probably have about 12 regulars here

I'd be all over that. What kind of quality can you get with such a low quantity?

I'd be interested. I could even furnish a picture or two for consideration, if you were thinking a 1 mustang a month-type thing.

Decent quality... www.cafepress.com could probably find others but I have firsthand experience with them so I "trust" them.

This sounds really cool, I know I'm a new guy here, but how would you choose the cars for it? Our 68 fastback will be done within a month or so, would be really cool to have it be part of it, if possible.

From experience the most difficult part is getting quality photos from everyone. That means not only the resolution etc. but also the setting... no signs or poles growing out of the cars or some other mess in the background.

I can handle that....I plan on photographing the car when it's done in a couple different settings...one outside a movie theatre, and another by a small local roadside bar & grill, on the centerline of a back county road, etc...

my 4mgpx canon should do a decent job of it with the moderate wide-angle lens I have.... If it can be used, cool, if not I'd still be interested in getting a couple of the calendars if it is made.

I'll probably have to do a little photoshoot to get better pics, but it'd be worth it to be the August car in a calendar. B)

I disagree. This will be a short run for only people that really want them.

Actually I am trying to find the place that will add your picture as one or the months... can't relocate that

Id be in for a calendar. I just produced one of the company I work for. There are plenty of good options out there that are cost consious.

I'll also throw my ride in the arena...not the most rare of cars but she photographs well

actually, some shots of 'jackstand racing team' cars and 'parts pics' is a novel idea, off the beaten trail...I'd like it 'cuz they would be projects of people I know and I would know the history (somewhat). Why not throw a few 'hangar queens' in there?

I can get pics of show cars anywhere. But there's a particular primer-brown 64.5 U-code 'vert in Monrovia, AL, that needs some exposure...

Jay, you get my PM? What's the status with the calendar? No rush, esp. since you hurt your eye.

Got the PM, read it with one eye but could not respond due to the burning... Calendar idea is still on the table. I was hoping someone would suggest another option besides www.cafepress.com

Still playing with the concept.
