First of all, hi all. The C6 for the '67 Shelby GT500 is giving me headaches....torque converter is fighting the flex plate on install....getting three clicks but when i get two bolts from the bell to the block, the torque converter loses the "jiggle" (sorry for the dumb terminology)...don't want to bolt it in with any potential headaches...have 1 1/16 " clearance from the straight edge across the bell housing to the studs...which meets specs. the darn thing just doesn't seem to want to go.. any thoughts? thanks a lot in advance....

Does your T/C have a drain plug? Is it aligned with a hole in the flexplate?

Loosing the "jiggle" is normal, but "binding" would not be. Does it bind?

GT350C-

Thanks for your time...the drain plug is not an issue. Just got concerned because in the past C4 and AXOD kept the jiggle so to speak. Worried that the torque converter is "ballooning" and may cause a preload to the crankshaft thrust bearing and/ front tranny pump...thanks again for your time.
