Brake Question

Hey everyone quick question (I hope). I just recently bought a 69 Fastback , it has four wheel disc brakes. Milstang is my brother and has offered me his old brakes off his shelby (which we believe would be an upgrade from what's currently on the car.) Since this has a built up 351W I was wondering will these brakes work (from an 07 Mustang) on my 69? If so is it a hard conversion to do since it already has disc brakes all around?

Thanks in advance for the info and glad to finally read this website with a little something in the garage.

I can't recall if they fit or not. I think there was a thread recently, maybe it wasn't for classics though, about using S197 rotors on an older car.

I know the bolt pattern is the same, but whether the 05+ rotors and calipers will bolt on is a whole different story. If he's already taken the brakes off his 07, maybe mock it up on yours just to see if it fits?

Good luck
