Hello, I just joined the board. Last weekend I bought a 67 coupe. It has a 289, auto, 4 wheel drums, and needs the usual floorpans and cowl repair. Is there anywhere in the Birmingham area that has floorpans? It would be nice to save shipping charges. As for the cowl, has anyone tried zipping off the top ends of the cowl instead of removing the entire top? I know it would require a little body filler to smooth up but taking off the entire top is a lot of work. Is there any repair that can be made from the bottom?

Thanks.

Thanks for joining Brent! Check out Impatient Creations in Alabaster. They just got done with a friend's 1972 convertible and it looks great.
