I have a few things I'd like to draw up and then have them done in billet. One is to adapt a different side mirror to a base that is the stock dimensions. The other is to pull the headrests off my seats and make a cover to fit the holes.

Any suggestions on how to go about doing this?

Talk to CantedValves... either here or vmf... He had all those brackets made for his supercharger setup.... he went through the entire process of diagraming, and building them..

You could also ask him who basically helped him dimension his diagrams, then you can talk to them... Or maybe you already are.

I designed some custom emblems for my dad's 68 fastback, and had a fella from the FordTruckWorld site cut them out of billet for me...

His name is Steve, and you can find him at BilletBadges.com

my buddy had to design a special water neck when he put a corvette engine in his porsche, he drew it up, designed it on camcad or something then brought the printout/blueprint to a shop locally and had it made.

just make sure that whatever it is youll be doing is egit, and that it wont be a waste, sometimes the best idea is the original one.

This is interesting... might give the software a try, atleast it will give me a plan then, and an instant quote to go against what I find locally.

I designed the brackets to make it possible to adapt these '94-2004 SN-95 Mustang rear discs onto the 8-inch rear end under this '65 Mustang fastback.

Why would someone repalce a Porsche engine with a GM engine? Ferdinand Porsche is probably turning in his grave.
