Does anyone know some interesting facts about the 1st gen Mustang.
I recently started studying Automotive engineering and I have to write a paper in introductory course about a topic that I like.
I chose to write it about the making of 1st gen Mustang. The design process before 1964 launch and its development from 64 to 73.

I am very thankful for every response.

I have searched google high and low but there isn't a lot on info on the years before the launch of Mustang

 

something along this line perhaps ..the mustang 1 and mustang 2 concepts .

I thought I knew a lot of Mustang trivia, but then I tried the trivia on the new 50th Anniv. Mustang App. Lots of good things I didn't know about all Mustangs, but mostly early ones.

 

A book came out about 2004 or so for the 40th Anniversary. The first chapter goes through development and concepts. A good reference for a mustang owner
