"68 Mustag FB "S"

Hello i'm looking at purchasing a '68 s mustang and was wondering if 10k is a decent value, it hasn't run in 20 years and is only in primer, that all the info i've gotton from the buyer so far, he's suposed to call me in a couple of weeks after his vacation so i can come over and take a look at it

also he mentioned that the bucket seats have headrests on them did Ford have this option in "68 for this car?

Thank you

You need to provide more info, when you say "S" I presume you mean it's an S code 390? Is it a FB, coupe or vert? And obviously it all depends on how much rust repair needs doing if any

re:

yes it's a 390, i've not had a chance to look at it yet but i know a little more than basic body work and metal (no profesional here) so when the guy calls me i'll be going in with a Camera and checking it out all over the place, i found a place in Ontario that can pretty much replace most of the car panels if they need it

If the seats have headrests then they are not original and likely '69 seats which look the same for the standard '69 models as the '68 but have a headrest. Value depends on what the car needs and the shape it's in....post up some pics when you can and we can give you a better idea of what you are looking at....
