I am looking at the new Boss block for when I build a car (which might be a while due to financials), but you might want to as well

good luck!

It's a '67 A code in need of TOTAL restoration, not for the beginner. I do have a new upper/lower cowl assembly, short rails to install under floor pan, rear short rails, all glass in car. No interior. Would use a 1 piece floor pan but haven't aquired yet. I'm looking for around $4500-$5000 and will be running it on *bay later this week. If it doesn't sell, we'll start working on it and offer it later as it's condition improves.

As far as the new Dynacorn bodies go: I wouldn't worry about installing a VIN as they come with a certificate of origin and can be registered as a 1967 Mustang fastback. Changing VINs isn't exactly legal. Could you imagine purchasing a Shelby and later finding out someone had put the VIN on a Dynacorn body?...but if Unique builds it from scratch it is a Shelby! kennyg

I know to look for rust (I think I do anyway) but other than that, what are some things to look for. What are some red flags to look for? What price range should I expect. I'd prefer to buy just a shell in good shape. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Interesting, I was looking at doing the same thing, just with an 05 GT. I'll almost certianly go the dynacorn body route though. Don't ask me why, I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I figure it will take at least 3 an dprobably more years to finish but it should be a great learning experience and at the end I have a "brand new" 67 fastback.

I was going to go the cobra kit route, but this seems like it would be so much more fun. I won't be buying for a couple of more years though so who knows what the landscape will look like then.
