True - part of the charm of old cars is in fact their temperamental nature.

But I don't miss replacing starter solenoids twice a year. Or running without a thermostat all summer. Or window tracks that would come unglued from the glass and drop into the bottom of the door.

I did love being able to do my own tuneups and basic maintenance easily in the driveway.

No arguments here! If my mustang were my DD I think I'd go nuts.
