'66 GT fastback price check

Hi All, been looking at a '66 GT fastback for sale "A" code & 4speed...$25k. It's a silver frost car, 15yr old restoration, all GT items check out except fog lamps when on do not light the taillights (butchered wiring), not correct for car pony interior, winshield & rear glass need resetting (not done properly & leak), paint is good.

The motor C6 casting looks correct. It needs refreshing as the current owner hasn't done a thing since the restoration. A bit of rust on the inside corner of pass. door which is said to have been there for years but clean otherwize. Sits a bit low so figuring new springs & suspension bits. Body panels fit OK but noticed headlight buckets & fender gaps -to -hood are off & would need to be corrected.

Fair deal?

Thanks

How much documentation/photography is there of the old restoration? A lot to be learned there. If no documentation or photography, I would have to bring out a little "stink-eye".

Craigslist Fresno ca, there is one, I have talked to the owner at shows and I think it's something he does on the side. He had it listed for like 25 then I think it's in the teens now but I got him to admit he only paid 9 so you could probably get him down
