This is an idea I have for a hood for a 65 it integrates the style of the side c-pillar louvers. If tastefully done i think it would look good on a 65. The cowl style would be smoothly formed into the hood. Just an idea I had for my car.

 

i dunno...personally i dont like it...to me it doesnt look like it fits a 65 IMO...

 

maybe if the vents didnt stick out. if they were more embedded, (kinda like the terminator's hood) and didnt stick out, i thing it would be prety cool!

 

I think i did the cowl 2 high the vents should be about a 1" and half high and go down into the hood

 

i can picture that. dont think it would look bad at all

 

Are you sure that's not just gonna be the side vent of a roof dormer from the home depot stuck on with a little double face tape? (j/K)

I can feel what you are after, a lower profile might look a little better. I'd almost like to see it taper a little narrower in the back width too maybe even taper the height as well, more like the side scoop or a traditional hood scoop and less straight like a cowl hood. It kinda reminds me of one half of the hood in Corvette summer?!?!?!??!
