I bought a 65 mustang about a year ago for my son to drive when he turns 16. I drive it about once a month. This month when I started it transmission came porting out where the dipstick goes on. Any idea how much work will be involved in repairing this?

Sounds like the dipstick tube just pulled up out of the transmission. Make sure it still has an attaching bracket welded to it and that it is bolted on with one of the bellhousing bolts. There is an o-ring on the end of the tube as well that should be checked for condition or existence and replaced as it is rubber.
