6 Gauge Cluster
I know that I read about this somewhere on this fourm but cant seem to find it again.
I just got a profit sharing check this week from work and instead of putting the money in my bank accound I think I will spend it on my car.
I want to change the dash pad (window corner starting to pull up), carpet and I want to get some pony white spray paint from NPD and repaint the dash.
I am going to rip the whole dacs apart and the tricky part is going to be the 6 gauge cluster. I just wanted to collect all useful tips from people who have taken theirs apart so I will not mess anything up and will be able to put everything back togeather in working condition.
Thanks is advance to anyone who can give me their .02.
Thanks
Jeff

Jeff,
Good luck with your project, it sounds like you have a nice little check burning a hole in your pocket.
As far as the '66 six gauge panels, I know of 4 options, from most expensive to cheapest:
Haneline - http://www.haneline.com/
JME - http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCatalog/...e65-66clust.htm
new ABS plastic molded gauge panel that Delta Bay Mustang is offering - http://www.deltabaymustang.com/absinstpnl.htm
and the original Shelby 6 gauge panel - http://www.cobranda.com/GetItemDetail.asp?...ID=368&DeptID=1

I love my cluster from JME and it was very easy to install. Buy the wiring harness s well. BTW, Julio will go any type of custom work as well. I used a black anodized finish for the cluster and glove box door. Here's my pic...
